Happy birthday to my blog who has survived for 7 whole years! Hip hip, hurray!
I've always had a thing for Reese's peanutbutter cups. Unfortunately, they're really expensive and therefore I also rarely buy them. The other night, I had insane cravings for these delicious thingies, so I decided to bake them myself. Why, OH WHY, haven't I done this before? It was so simple and it tasted exactly the same as Reese's.
What you need is peanutbutter (preferably some really creamy one), 200g milk chocolate (I guess you can do it with dark chocolate as well if you fancy that), icing sugar (you'll need as much so you can easily make a little ball of the peanutbutter without having it all over your hands, I think I had like 1dl) and mini cupcake cups.
So, melt the chocolate. Put some chocolate in the bottom of the cups (not all of it since you'll need to cover the peanutbutter too!) and put them in the freezer for 10 minutes or so. Mix the peanutbutter and icing sugar while the chocolate is cooling. Put a nice little ball on top of the cool chocolated, push it down a little, and finish off by covering it with some more chocolate. Let it cool in the fridge at least an hour before eating them. And voila! You've just made your own, ultradelicious own Reese's peanutbutter cups!
